Meet our owner Arzu Onay
Arzu has over twenty years of experience in the health care industry.
Her innate ability to extend her hand to people in need began when her mother had a stroke and became bed ridden in the late 80’s.
Being the only daughter in her family, Arzu resigned from an executive position to take care of her ailing mother and provide her with the comfort and care that she knew her mother needed and deserved.
While Arzu took care of her mother she noted that a glaring gap exists in the modern day health care industry. The lack of facilities that show a “human touch” startled her and convinced her that she needed to leave the corporate world behind and pursue a career where she could help elderly patients who needed more than a hospital visit on their roa
d to recovery.
Since then, her mother passed away, but her desire to help people in need continues.
Arzu recently launched a 6 Bed Residential Care Facility, ‘HAWKINS SUITE,’ in memory of her most beloved patient, Mr. Donald Hawkins. The Facility is located in a newly remodeled home located in Escondido, California and was created to provide elderly patients with superior comfort and superb care in a warm and inviting environment.

In addition to the “Hawkins Suite,” Ms. Onay runs ‘Tender Nursing Home Care & Transportation Services,’ a business that provides high quality nursing services to patients throughout the Greater San Diego Area.
